The Board of Directors of Banagas and Tawseah, led by the Chairman, Mr. Mark Thomas, visited the Bahrain National Gas Company (Banagas). They were received by Dr. Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive, and the Company's Executive Management.

The Executive Management presented to the Chairman and Board of Directors of Banagas and Tawseah the Company's history, achievements, and development. This was followed by an update on the Bahrain Gas Plant Project, one of the strategic initiatives undertaken by the Oil & Gas Holding Company as part of the expansion and modernization plans in the oil and gas sector. This project comes in line with the Bahrain Economic vision 2030 and the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Oil and Gas Holding Company B.S.C. (nogaholding).

During their visit, the Company's achievements in the fields of Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, Production, and Social Responsibility were highlighted, including the company being awarded the “Patron’s Award” in the Oil & Gas Sector from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for its Health and Safety Performance during the year 2021, and “Best in Country Award” from British Safety Council, United Kingdom, for the year 2021, in recognition of its outstanding performance in the field of Health, Safety and Environment over four decades of operations.

The Chairman and Board of Directors of Banagas and Tawseah lauded the Company for its various national and international recognitions and achievements, including completing 8 million man-hours without any lost time accidents in March 2022. They reiterated that these awards and achievements are a testament to the company's high work ethics and standards over the many years. 

The Chairman and Board of Directors of Banagas and Tawseah expressed their appreciation of the efforts of the Company and its team in ensuring successful operations of major industrial projects. They praised the distinctive contribution of the Company toward the economy and development of the Kingdom of Bahrain. They wished the Company and its employees further success and prosperity in the future.
