Banagas Board of Directors Chairman Meets Company Trade Union

Bahrain National Gas Company BSC Closed (BANAGAS) recently held its workers trade union meeting chaired by Mr. Mark Thomas, Group CEO of The Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding) and Chairman of BANAGAS Board of Directors. The meeting was attended by BANAGAS Chief Executive, Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and key members of the company’s trade union.

During the meeting, Mr. Mark Thomas lauded the union’s efforts towards supporting and protecting employee’s rights. The Chairman also stressed on the importance of workers health and safety in the workplace which comes in line with His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty The King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and the Chairman of nogaholding, directives in supporting workers’ rights, protecting them and advancing their professional development, as well as spreading trade union awareness and promoting social dialogue.

Additionally, the Chairman commended the close collaboration between the company and the union which demonstrates the company’s dedication in achieving His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa’s vision and aspiration to grow and develop the oil and gas sector.
