The Chairman and Board of Directors of Tatweer Petroleum, headed by Eng. Faisal Mohamed Al Mahroos, visited the Bahrain National Gas Company (Banagas) where they were received by Dr. Shaikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive, and the Company's Executive Management.

The Chief Executive welcomed the Chairman and Board of Directors of Tatweer Petroleum and congratulated them on their new appointment.

The Executive Management presented to the Chairman and Board of Directors of Tatweer Petroleum the Company's history, achievements and development over the years followed by an update on the Bahrain Gas Plant Project. The Bahrain Gas Plant Project was one of the strategic initiatives undertaken by the Oil & Gas Holding Company as part of the expansion and modernization plans in the oil and gas sector, in line with the Bahrain Economic vision 2030 of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister and the support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty's Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company B.S.C. (nogaholding). This Project is expected to significantly contribute towards the enrichment of the oil and gas sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

During the visit, the Company's achievements in the fields of Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, Production and Social Responsibility were highlighted. Additionally, the visitors were briefed on the “Best in Country Award” from British Safety Council, United Kingdom, for the year 2021, in recognition of its outstanding performance in the field of Health, Safety and Environment over 4 decades of operations.

The Chairman and Board of Directors of Tatweer Petroleum appreciated the Company for its various national and international recognitions and achievements. They reiterated that these awards are a testament of the high work ethics and standards maintained by the Company over the many years.

The Chairman and Board of Directors of Tatweer Petroleum appreciated the dedication of the Bahraini workforce and their contribution in ensuring successful operations of major industrial projects.
